Portrait urban texture effectThis is another tutorial that I adapted from psdvault I loved it!
Step 1 PortraitUsing the green screen and lighting in the studio take the best front facing portrait of yourself or a friend. I do not want celebrities for this one.
Move the image from the camera to your folder on your U:/ drive for future use. Please be sure to delete the photos you take off of the camera cards when you are done! Step 2 Open photoshopCreate a new document sized 8.5 X 11 inches with black background. Load the portrait image into Photoshop and cut out the “model” part, paste it onto our document. Adjust the size to fit our canvas:
Smooth out the skin a bit, by applying the following Surface Blur setting: |

You can use the grunge brushset you download as eraser, remove the red (mask) past of the human layer:
