Famous Media/Digital Artist
Directions:
Students will be able to create a detailed google slides presentation (or other presentation with permission) about a famous photographer of their own choosing and present it to the class/peers within a five minute time frame. This allows for every student to be an expert on one artist in addition to learning about other artists from their peers. Students will utilize their information and imagery research skills, writing, and critical thinking skills. In addition, this lesson is differentiated for students who enjoy using technology, learning about art history, and applying their artistic skills in their school work.
Tasks:
1. Choose an artist that you will do your research project on from the list here: Famous artists past and present: see the links below. Artist must be school appropriate!
2.Notify the teacher which artist you would like to research (have a backup ready just in case another student has asked for the same artist.)
3.Research and find information about your chosen artist. *Record websites for your bibliography
