Like: how you incorporated stairs in every photo
Like: you creativity and how each photo is from a different angle/perspective
Wish: you would have had a little bit more colour in your photos
Like: your different angles and perspectives
Like: the photo of leaves and the walkway with leading lines.
Wish: you would have gotten more pictures of stairs
1. For the 3rd one I love all the different filters and hues added to the photos, it gives them all a
perfect mood. I find you used the rule of thirds really nicely in a lot of them too, each picture
was different to look at and all interesting. I wish I had some critique for these photos but I don’t
2. For the 8th one I like all of the angles they are taken from and the layout of the photos, even if
there is only 4 pictures. I wish the 3rd photo was less blurry.
3 Stars: I liked how you changed the exposure to get different effects on your pictures. I also
like how you used leading lines in a couple of your photos it works really well. Last I also liked
how you used several different angles and aspects in taking your photos.
Wish: I wish you would use rule of thirds more.
3 Stars: I liked the way you used the angle of the stairs crossing all the way down. I also liked
how you used rule of thirds in the picture of the short stairs behind the school. Last, I liked how
you used the stairs as leading lines in several of your pictures.
Wish: I wish that you would have focused more on a few different parts of stairs or objects on
stairs and that you would have considered the rule of thirds more throughout your pictures.
Three Stars: I love how you used rule of thirds in many of your pictures and how
they were all at different angles and positions. I liked how you used many
different types of stairs in different areas instead of one staircase in different
ways. I liked how you had all different kinds of editing on your pictures: some
were colorful and some were black and white and some were in between! Good
Even though I said some were colorful I would still like to see some extra
difference in saturation in the pictures… all are a bit gloomy.
Three Stars: I love the variety you used and the different themes of pictures you
did. I liked all the colors for I am a color lover. I also love the how you used many
different photography skill like leading lines, rule of thirds and more.
Wish: I wish a ALL the pictures followed the theme… for example I love dogs but
dogs have nothing to do with stairs….
1. In the second to last picture I like the way the railing leads to the
chestnut from behind.
2. The muted colours in picture five as well as the positioning of the
cut branches which follow the rule of thirds works really well.
3. Picture three captures the concept of leading lines very well and I
like the way the sun look coming out from behind the trees.
4. To me the colours in picture six feel like they are a little bit to
1. I like the detailed close up in the first picture and I think that it
mostly follows the rule of thirds.
2. I like how in the second and last pictures the stairs are the main
focus but they are not centered which allows you to catch a
glimpse of the background.
3. The pictures stood out to me because many people used bright
colours but most of these pictures are muted colours or back and
4. I think that the seventh photo needs something on the opposite
side to the railing to balance the photo.
I liked the variety of stairs that they used
I liked most of the angles that they used
My favorite one was the picture of the slightly curved stairs
They could have had more photos to look at.
I liked the dark eeriness of the whole set
I also liked how the photos weren’t directly focused on stairs, how they took parts of stairs
I liked all of the colors together
But some of the colors were a bit plain
Group # 12
Most of your pictures have bright colored subjects and nice angles what I like about your album is that it
is a lot more interesting then all of the pictures of stairs. When you did take picture of stairs they were
still better than most of the stair pictures because of the angles you used and the tone of the pictures.
What I would change
The picture with the railing going down the middle had good leading lines, but it was off center.
Group # 8
I like your interpretation of the theme, which was to use people’s stares as well as stairs. I like how your
subjects were in different poses (ex. Serious, laughing).
Things I would change
Your pictures of stairs were grey and boring with no subject, and the fourth to last picture of the girl is
I like this set because I like how the he or she took the photo.
The lights and the focus are good and it make a beautiful photo
My favorite photo in this set is the 9th because the bike and the stair are balance. It’s interesting.
I love this set, he is very different as the others. Most of the photo have the stairs and another thing who do the balance like the 9th and the 10th with the plant and the brown.
My favorite photo in this set is the 3rd one because the lights, the focus are really good. The sun dazzled not the picture, it’s awesome.
This photo is a perfect autumn one.
First thing, I love the chestnuts. You photograph then in a way so that they look really pretty and in focus, so you're doing great at that! You use a lot of leading lines, which I think is really helpful. I like the mood to your photos too, almost vintage. I love it!
Creative use of the word "stairs", it's fantastic. You also varied the different types of stares, which also varied the mood of your photos. I like it. I especially loved the photo of Marshall, it captures his personality effectively. Technically speaking, your lighting is fantastic for the portraits. Keep taking great photos!
I really enjoyed the way you contrasted the colors. I like the use of black and white. I also like the
I wish you would saturate the photos a bit more
I really like the use of the Chestnut as the subject. I also liked the use of rule of thirds and the different
I wish you would play around with black and white.
I really like the use of different colors and the different angles.
I wish you would play with saturation
